Ashley Woody brought in big bags of food food for the pets during the holidays.  Thank you!

Candice Orfao gathered donations at her 13th b-day party. Look at all that loot! Thank you!

Happy 8th Birthday to Marisa Terry! Marisa asked her friends to bring donations for the animals rather than personal presents to her birthday party. The animals, staff and volunteers at Animal Services thank you Marisa!

A huge thank you to Paige Shivel for her donations to the animals at the shelter. Paige asked her friends to bring dog and cat food instead of gifts. Thank you Paige!

A big thank you to the kids in Streamland Estates in Tumwater! They had a bike-a-thon this summer where they gathered pledges from their neighbors and then rode for 1 hour. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

The Olympian

Rebekah Richter and Amanda Solberg, Junior Girl Scouts, organized an adoption fair to promote adoptions of the cats, dogs and other animals at the shelter and to raise money for them.

The girls worked with Chandra Mincher, the Education and Volunteer Coordinator at the shelter, to hold the five-hour fair. Their troop helped find homes for 17 animals and raised $170. More about this in The Olympian...

A big thanks to 6 year old Mckenzi Nutter, who asked for gifts for the shelter animals at her birthday party. Her generosity made a big impact on the animals and the staff at the shelter.
