Winter is here, and with
it, cold weather and our notorious rains.
Be
sure you have adequate shelter for any pets that spend time outdoors. A
pet's fur will help keep it warm, but only if it's dry--a dog house with a
solid roof and the door facing away from the winds provides the perfect
protection.
A pet
crate with the door removed, the side openings taped to keep rain out, and a
clean blanket on the floor can provide good housing for cats.
If
you see a pet suffering from lack of appropriate shelter, please call us at
(360) 352-2510.
Buy a brick and
support the Thurston County Off-leash Dog Park. Makes a great gift or
memorial.
Donate
items
that we need.
We can always use high-quality, dry cat/kitten food, as well as
other supplies. Can you help?
We also need new or
gently-used medium and large dog houses
for our
Roof Over Rover
program.
